American Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and uSupport project will cooperate in promotion of Ukraine’s IT-outsourcing and BPO industry. The parties agreed to cooperate on purpose of creation required conditions for sustainable development and growth of the IT industry of Ukraine, improve the investment climate in IT industry of Ukraine, deem it necessary to enter into this Memorandum of Cooperation.
SupportUkraine.us and uSupport project agreed to unite efforts to promote Ukraine’s IT market potential. According to the Agreement, SupportUkraine.us will perform promotional activities in the United States and Canada, while uSupport project will focus on the EU countries and other countries looking for IT and BPO outsourcing services.
The uSupport project will provide SupportUkraine.us initiative with information about the IT outsourcing companies of Ukraine with the aim to confirm the IT market potential of Ukraine in the course of promotional activities organized by SupportUkraine.us in the United States and Canada.
The uSupport project will also assist the SupportUkraine.us initiative in the process of identifying Ukrainian companies suitable in competences for implementation of activities requested by North American clients.
SupportUkraine.us is an initiative designed to bring the outsourcing contracts to Ukraine, based on the concept of “cloudsourcing”. SupportUkraine.us has already prepared and organized presentations and receptions in Washington D.C. and New Yor City and this activity has resulted into media awareness and interest from potential partners. Currently, another promotional event is being organized in the Silicon Valley.

The ranking member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Congressman Eliot L. Engel stated, "As a long-standing supporter of an independent, democratic, and prosperous Ukraine, I welcome this timely initiative, which I hope will help strengthen Ukraine’s economy at an important moment."
uSupport project is a web catalog created to support the IT branch of Ukraine. The main tasks are: to gather the most exact information about the spectrum of IT outsourcing companies of Ukraine and the services they provide, and to provide the most precise information about the ІТ potential of Ukraine in terms of export oriented services. More than 100 IT-outsourcing companies have registered in the catalog.

The national statistic service of Ukraine reports 15,676 economically active firms as having IT and telecommunications as their primary field activity.
The majority of them - more than 6,000 - are registered in Kyiv, and the number of IT professionals working in Kyiv is more than 17,500. The total number of IT professionals working in Ukraine is more than 200,000, and 15,000 professionals are supplied to the industry every year by university graduates.
